You know, what's wrong with this series? Nothing ever happens there. It's been five episodes already and the writers are still chewing the same piece of gum. Rayna and Deacon are still in this complicated relationship. The story about Scarlett - Avery - Gunnar triangle is in some real stagnation. The conflict between Juliette and Rayna has died before reaching any critical point. Teddy's past is still haunting him without striking, and so on and so forth.
As I see some action in any of these story lines, I think to myself "Finally, it's resolved, they're moving on", - but in the end, to my great disappointment, everything goes back to where it's started. Painful, to say the least.
I do love movies where people are locked in the room together and almost nothing happens there besides them talking (I madly, deeply love Sleuth, for instance), but the thing is: you can't make a series out of this, it has to remain very concentrated to be enjoyable. Yet here I am, watching Nashville.
Recap:
So, Rayna cancelled the tour and is now looking forward to the new record. I wouldn't know how appropriate that is to give up on the previous album and just move on, but that's what she's decided to do. In a meanwhile, to get some cash she's selling one of her songs for a beauty commercial and it didn't even occur to her that Deacon, a co-writer of the song wouldn't sign a release.Well, not until it happens.
Peggy still bothers Teddy and says she wants to tell the secret. So, to prevent that from happening, Teddy turns to Lamar for help. Teddy then admits that he basically floated his funds with Peggy's money, which is kind of illegal. Lamar promises to resolve this. Lamar also suggests to run a negative campaign on Coleman.
Hailey insists that their relationship with Gunnar should remain cool and as less complicated as possible. Gunnar disagrees (he should definitely talk to Rayna and Deacon about it, I'm sure they would support Hailey on this).
Rayna comes to Deacon to ask for a release personally. They argue about it and eventually he declines.
Juliette locks herself and her staff in the studio and tries to record a perfect album. Deacon hints that she's just avoiding spending time at home with her mother. He offers help in getting Juliette's mom to agree on being placed to a rehab, at first she rejects, but eventually has to accept his assistance. Together they manage to persuade Juliette's mom to go to a clinic. As she leaves, she drops some pills that Deacon picks up and keeps. The next morning he meets with his sponsor and confesses that he wanted
to take those pills, but he did not.
Rayna writes a song on her own, because no other song writer is available. She has another boring conversation with Teddy about the whole Deacon situation.
Scarlett and Gunnar get to perform before of the producers to sell their song. Their manager suggest to get an additional guitar and Avery agrees to do it. However, he gets jealous and tries to steal the show, which results in a total failure: they don't get the deal.
Lamar makes the auditor go away. When Peggy thanks Teddy for it, some paparazzi takes photos of them holding hands and such.
Deacon gets to a fist fight with a couple of drunks outside of the Blue Bird. He gets arrested and calls Rayna, who declines the call as she hears it's from a detention facility. Juliette bails Deacon and they go for a ride. Deacon also tells his lawyer to sign a release on the song for the commercial.

REVENGE "ILLUSION'
In the episode "Illusion" Conrad and Victoria are getting re-married, the world learns that Gordon Murphy is dead and Mason manages to figure something out about Emily and Amanda.
It opens with Grayson family getting ready for the wedding. Victoria wears an incredibly beautiful dress by Vera Wang and Conrad gives her a wedding present: a very fancy gun, which, unfortunately, she won't use this time.
Emily gets Gordon's body from the freezer, puts it to a trailer, and, by leaving one of Conrad Grayson's cufflinks near the corpse, makes it look like he's the one who killed TWHM. She also plants some of the evidence, like the gun from which Aiden shot Murphy, in Grayson's home. Amanda then mentions to Mason, whom she meets to show the scar related materials, that Murphy worked for Graysons, and eventually, Mason finds the body and calls the cops.
Kenny sends one of Jack's bar suppliers away, because he thinks the liqueur prices are not competitive enough. The guy hints to Jack and Declan that Kenny's involved in some dirty business, which wouldn't be much of a surprise. Nonetheless, the bar is finally reopened, Charlotte spends more time with Declan and seemingly gets back together with him, and last, but not least, Jack proposes to Amanda.
Mason calls Victoria, notifying about the ongoing search in her house. Victoria just carries on with the wedding ceremony, saying no word about this to her fiancee.
Aiden brings Emily to the wedding as his date, which makes Ashley feel quite uncomfortable, especially, when Emily and Daniel end up dancing together. During this dance Daniel brings up the topic of him and Emily getting back together, however, he's interrupted by the police, who came to arrest Conrad.
Nolan confronts Padma with what he knows. She claims she did not realize what her asking about David Clarke could lead to, and in the end Nolan is asking her how far she could go to protect the company.
When Mason talks to Victoria about the whole situation, and mentions Emily, Victoria nervously tells him that Emily is nothing but "a juvie girl".
Kara seems to be leaving the Hamptons.
Initiative come to Conrad's cell to get a deal. He would then get out of jail, but in exchange they want him to provide "financial services" to the group, and that is surely for something evil. Conrad agrees.
And finally, Mason connects the dots and figures that Emily and Amanda must have known each other before last summer.
So, it ended on a very exciting note. There're so many questions, like, what will Initiative ask from Gordon in exchange for this little favor? What will Nolan tell Padma to do about the whole Clarke/Grayson situation? Will Kara really leave or stay and avenge Gordon's death? And of course, will Mason be able to figure out, who Emily Thorne really is?

AMERICAN HORROR STORY S02E04
Finally! "I am Anne Frank (1)" was an extremely exciting episode and I really, really loved it. I missed this feeling a lot.
AHS continues to portray the horrors of the real life, this time they go to the very dark moment for the mankind, the Second World War. But what makes the episode even better, the "modern" part of the story has been left out of narration. Plus, we get to see young Dr. Arden, who was played by James Cromwell's son, John. The resemblance is extraordinary.
Recap:
Dr. Arden continues his sadistic experiments: the microchip disappeared, so he x-rays Kit looking for it, and he also injects Shelley with something that he says will make her "live forever".
Dr. Thredson plays some mind games. He tells Kit that he must have really killed all those women because of the pressure of being unaccepted by society; and because he couldn't face the atrocity of what he's done, his memories of murders have been replaced by preposterous alien stories. Oliver also tells Lana that he could "cure" her, so that she could get out of the Briarcliff. Lana hesitated at first, but then she thought of how praised she would be for a book about her experience in the institution (she is ambitious, after all), so she agrees.
A new patient (Franka Potente) arrives at the Briacliff: she attacked a couple of businessmen for an antisemitic joke. She later freaks out as she sees Dr. Arden: she calls him a Nazi and yells that she's Anne Frank (that's right, the Anne Frank). She later says to Sister Jude that Dr. Arden is a war criminal: he's carried out horrible experiments on people in Auschwitz and his name then was Hans Gruper.
Grace tells Kit her story, she says she was framed by her step sister and her boyfriend, who killed Grace's father and step mother to take over the farm. Kit and Grace get intimate and are caught in the act by one of the guards.
Sister Mary Eunice, still possessed, picks a very bad cane to punish Kit and Grace. Sister Jude comments:
"I don't know what's gotten into you Sister lately, but it's a decided improvement",- which I believe was a very funny line. Jude also says that she doesn't want a "murder baby" conceived in the Briarcliff, so she wants to sterilize the troubled couple. When Sister Eunice is left alone with Kit, she shows him Grace's case files. As Kit gets back to his cell, he asks, why Grace lied to him and so she's forced to admit that she did kill her parents, because her father molested her (a practice widespread among the farmers) and her step mother did not do anything about it.
Two detectives come to the Briarcliff to ask Dr. Arden some questions. The prostitute from the second episode apparently reported to the police that Arden keeps creepy pictures and Nazi symbols in his house. Sister Jude at first thinks that they are vice detectives, but they actually came to investigate the Bloody Face murders. They ask her if she thinks that Kit has the skill of taking somebody's skin off.
So Sister Jude asks Monsignor Timothy to get rid of Arden, because he's a sadist and most likely a war criminal. Timothy's response to that is that Jude just wants to believe that Arden is evil, and hints that he could replace her with someone else at the sanitarium. He knows that she was drunk on the night when the patients disappeared. Sister Jude then comes for advice to Mother superior, the person who converted her. Mother superior says that she knows someone who could help Jude with the whole Arden situation.
Dr. Thredson performs an aversion therapy on Lana, making her vomit (with the help of some drugs), as she looks at erotic pictures of women, and afterwards masturbate touching some young male patient's genitals. I'm no doctor, but it's hard to believe that anyone could truly think this method would work, and so naturally, it didn't. However, Oliver tells Lana that he'll take her with him when he leaves.
The discovery that even Grace is a murderer hit Kit hard. He comes to confess to Sister Jude, seeking for forgiveness. Sister Jude's heart seems to melt, and I don't know if that is because of his sincere feeling of remorse or because she no longer believes that he's the Bloody Face (she did see the alien and now the question asked by detectives make her doubt).
Monsignor Timothy calls Dr. Arden and warns him that there's a threat and suggests to get rid of any evidence. Dr. Arden locks Anne Frank in his "lab", most probably, planning to kill her, but she shoots him in the leg with a gun that she stole from detectives earlier (she did say she was a thief). She notices a locked door and when she opens it, Shelley, transformed to a monster, resembling the ones in the woods, asks to kill her.
______________________________________________________________________________
Dr. Thredson seems very evil. The last time he told Lana he's not so sure that Bloody Face locked in the Briarcliff, but now he tries to convince Kit that he really is the murderer. Suspicious, right? And this whole aversion-conversion treatment looks extremely sick, really sadistic. Zachary Quinto is definitely playing a villain of some sort.

DEXTER S07E06: SEX BEATS KILLING URGES
This episode seemed a little less exciting to me, mainly because Ray Stevenson had just a couple of scenes this time.
Recap:
Dexter thinks Hannah didn't stop killing people, which makes her a perfect candidate for his victim, so he watches her, discussing with his dead power, how to proceed. According to the code, Dexter has to gather some solid evidence that would prove she poisoned her husband and her mentor. He wants to talk to her about this, but first he needs to regain her trust. He changes his blood report conclusion about the corpses that Hannah helped find, so that she wouldn't be a suspect, and shows a copy of that to her.
Quinn tells Nadia that her employers gave him a lot of money. She wisely tells him to return it, because he might end up being killed. Quinn agrees and throws money at George, saying "I'm not for sale", a statement, which is cocky as much as is untrue.
In a meanwhile, Isaak meets a representative of the hostile Colombian drug cartel in prison. Isaak breaks that guy's hand and mentions that negotiation is the key to success. He then talks to George and tells him to arrange the release as soon as possible, because the longer he stays in prison, the higher is the chance that he ends up killing somebody, in which case it will be very difficult for him to get out.
So George comes to meet Quinn instead of Nadia and demands that he does something to ensure Isaak is set free. If he doesn't Nadia will be transferred to a sex club in Dubai with unbearable working conditions. Quinn calls Nadia for a couple of days (as if she would pick up the phone in circumstances like that) and then eventually steals the evidence.
Sal Price, who's written a book about Wayne and Hannah, appears at Miami Metro to get the information about the newly found bodies. Dexter chases him and learns that Sal is writing a sequel solely about Hannah. So Dexter breaks into his apartment and steals the copy of the draft along with some other materials. He gets to know that Hanna's mentor was indeed poisoned with aconite, extracted from a plant.
Dexter comes to Hannah's place and finds the plant. She confronts him and asks why he keeps showing up, so he has to take her out... on a date.
Maria couldn't get anything from missing people's relatives, so she comes up with another idea: what if those suspects the police are looking for are not hiding, but are killed by Bay Harbor Butcher? For example that group of criminals, suspected in murders of girls, whose bodies were found in barrels (as we know, she's right about it, those men were killed by Dex and Lumen in season five). Debra tells Maria that it's unlikely, those criminals were really high profile, but she, of course, knows that Maria is right.
So Debra talks to Dexter and asks him about this case. She figures that the accomplice he had at the time was Lumen, and as usually, completely freaks out. Dexter tells her to relax and go on a date and she then kicks him out. However, she later takes his advise and goes on a date with Sal, where she learns that Hannah is very likely a killer and that Dexter's blood report was bullshit.
Dexter takes Hannah to the place she wanted to go with Wayne: Santa Holiday Adventure. As she watches fake snow fall down, Dexter injects her with his usual drug and prepares her for the kill. As she opens her eyes, he tells her his little secret, but in the end, instead of killing her, he cuts off the tape and has sex with her.
And yes, Batista wants to retire and run a restaurant.
So, Dexter seems to finally find a person that truly shares his interests. I think it's no coincidence that the story with Lumen came up: Dexter saw a soul mate in her, which turned out that she wasn't. Though Debra won't be happy if she finds out about it, she can't fully accept her brother for being what he is, she'll never put up with a girlfriend that poisons people.

NASHVILLE S01E04: THE STORY'S LOST IN EMOTIONS
So the fourth episode of Nashville in my opinion was no good. The narration turned to a display of different characters' mental meltdowns; the subconscious, inner emotion dominated the story so much, that the feeling this episode left me with could be expressed with the phrase widely used in this very series, namely, "what the hell was that?"
For example, let's take the fight between Deacon and Teddy. I cannot believe this kind of thing never happened before, and more importantly, I think nothing extraordinary has been said, nothing to justify Rayna not wanting to come home after this. Or the scene where Juliette finds her baby photo in her mother's bag: did not seem like a trigger good enough to make her cry.
Neither am I convinced that shoplifting could actually cause that much damage to Juliette's career. And the PR specialist they hired did not look particularly professional. There's been only one instance of stealing caught on camera, so there was absolutely no need to come clean, and Juliette's explanation of the situation was completely plausible, so this is what they had to go with. And so that part of the story seemed quite idiotic to me.
I understand that the creators are going after a character centered narration, maybe by eliminating logic and basic story integrity they want to build an emotional connection between the characters and the audience. But sadly, it doesn't work on me.
Oh, and I suddenly realized that Charles Esten, the actor who impersonates Deacon, looks a lot like Mitt Romney.
This time I've decided to try to capture and transmit all this drama using a new format: a photo recap.

VEGAS S01E05: THIS AIN'T NO PLACE FOR THE WEARY KIND
Well, I haven't changed my mind. At this point I can confidently say that it could have been a good mini series, if they'd just tell the mob story, because the crimes that Lamb must deal with are not doing any good to this show.
This week's episode "Solid Citizens" was lacking any real action, even though there was a firefight scene. It opened with Vincent talking to the banker, who mentions that the community which Savino wants to be a part of values family a lot, because it consists of Mormons. So they want to see Vincent in the country club with his wife.
Mrs. Laura Savino (Vinessa Shaw) comes to Vegas and her husband suggests her to move there permanently. He says it is finally possible to live normal, non criminal life, a statement she later doubts as she sees a couple of bullet holes in his car. But after the evening at the country club, she agrees to move on one condition: Vincent must be completely honest with her
The Milwaukee mob is missing a cash transfer ("the sandwich") from Vegas, so they are sending their good man Jones (Damon Herriman) to find out what happened to David Cornaro, whom, as we know, Savino had killed in the last episode. Jones appears at the Savoy to ask Vincent about this. Vincent suggests that Cornaro skipped town and after Jones walks out the door, he orders his minion to make it look so.
Katherine and her little helpers are also looking for David, and they suspect that Savino contributed to this magic disappearance. The disagreement between Jack and Ralph increases as they view Dixon's role in law enforcement differently. Dixon is quite good at being the deputy, but Ralph doesn't want him be endangered, so he doesn't let him take part in any special operations.
Savino's servants leave Cornaro's car near the airport, and so Jones finds a ticket inside and seemingly believes Cornaro's in L.A. Dixon, though, finds a corn chaff in the undercarriage, which could mean that Cornaro's body is somewhere in the cornfield, so Ralph takes Vincent there and says that the secrets or the bodies won't stay buried forever (I doubt this statement to be accurate).
And the kidnapping was organized by little boy's uncle, but who cares.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY "NOR'EASTER"
It was of course a spooky coincidence that the episode of AHS about nor'easter was scheduled to air on the same week when Sandy hit the East Cost. Murphy must have sold his soul to the Devil, no wonder possession scenes come off so great in his show.
So, I'll do a recap this time.
Leo didn't die from all the lovely stabbing that took place in the last episode. He saves Teresa from Bloody Face, whom she later finishes. Unfortunately, two more Bloody Faces appear, as the couple tries to escape, one of them shoots Leo and Teresa, which, of course, doesn't mean they are dead. Then Bloody Faces take their masks off and it appears like three teenagers decided to commit some copycat murders (I don't even want to ask questions, like, how they even knew that someone got to the Briarcliff this very moment). But it wasn't them who ripped Leo's hand off, and so they shortly see one more Bloody Face, who doesn't seem to belong to their group. This story is not over.
Back to 1964. "A big fat storm" is coming, so Sister Jude is organizing a movie night at the asylum, planning to show The Sign of the Cross (very peculiar choice) to the inmates to distract them from bad weather and their fears (<offtop>: This brings back my childhood memories. When I had to spend a couple of weeks in hospital (not the mental one!) I also had to watch a movie about the crucifixion of Jesus. The scenes with nailing to the cross and stuff were so vivid that some of the impressionable fellow patients believed it to was a documentary <offtop\>).
Sister Mary Eunice is acting all possessed. She gets to Sister Jude's head by bringing her a newspaper from 1949 with the photo of a missing girl, the one Sister Jude drove over. On top of that, she contributes to the tension between Jude and Dr. Arden. She tempts Jude with wine. She offers herself to Dr. Arden in a way so bold, it could hardly be arousing. Finally, she stabs one of patients, The Mexican, who's the only one to recognize the Devil inside of her, with a pair of scissors and dumps her body outside of the sanitarium.
Lana Winters asks Dr. Thredson to pass a message from her to Wendy, she thinks Sister Jude is keeping her away. Dr. Thredson goes to Wendy's house to only find a small blood stain, which makes him believe that Bloody Face is still out there and not in Briarcliff. He shares his doubts with Lana.
Sister Jude is all over the accident that took place fifteen years ago (1949, remember?). She's paranoid, suspecting first Dr. Thredson, then Dr. Arden in messing with her. But it's when she receives a phone call from the dead girl she collapses. She gets drunk and gives a speech before the movie night start, which reminded of those monologues given by bar singers. She leaves the patients watching the movie, and goes to look for The Mexican. But she finds this instead:
Dr. Arden apparently managed to catch Kit's microchip with legs. He cuts it in pieces, but it comes back together. Arthur believes that KGB or Stasi or whatever sent Kit to spy on him. Yeah, don't flatter yourself, doctor! After Sister Eunice comes at him, he seems upset about her corrupted purity, and blames Shelley.
Kit, Grace and Shelley are escaping, Lana joins them, because she's no longer sure that Kit is Bloody Face, plus she's scared for her girlfriend. Shelley destructs one paramedic guard with, you know, Shelley stuff, the rest of the group goes without her and they find their way out.
But their freedom doesn't last. Unfortunately, they get to meet the lovely creatures, feasting on The Mexican's body, so they rush back to the asylum.
Dr. Thredson notices that some patients are missing. Sister Mary Eunice doesn't get to see how Christians are eaten by wild animals and goes to wake Sister Jude. By the time Jude comes to the improvised cinema, Lana, Grace and Kit are back, but The Mexican, Shelley and Pepper are missing.
Dr. Arden attempts to rape Shelley, but when she sees his wiener she laughs and asks if there's been an accident. Arden knocks her out and when she regains consciousness, she finds out that that everyone in the asylum thinks she ran away, and that her legs are amputated. Tragic!
So, we know where Shelley and The Mexican are, but what happened to this little sweetie?
Has the alien abducted her? And to that matter, why did alien go to the Briarcliff in the first place? Was it only to get the microchip?
Final thoughts: Dr. Thredson's not so harmless, he seems to be hiding something; Dr.Arden is the most disgusting pervert in this series; Sister Jude turned to God for the wrong reason and she seems to be lacking faith; Devil, possessing Sister Eunice is the most interesting character so far, and Leo and Teresa are freaking immortals.
The best line of the episode for me was this:
Score: 8/10

REVENGE S02E05 'FORGIVENESS': DEATH IN THE HAMPTONS NEVER WINS
There are some dark clouds gathering above Nolan's head, first his father dies and now his exclusive ownership of NolCorp could be lost.
But first things first, a lot happened in "Forgiveness", actually.
- Kara Clarke appears at Grayson's home, with intentions sniff out if Victoria knows anything about TWHM's whereabouts. Victoria offers her to stay with themfor the same reason
- Aiden increases his involvement with Grayson Global as Takeda's proxy. He gets to learn that Padma requested information about David Clarke's contract details. He and Emily have a fight in the end of which he basically threatens her and later he seemingly joins the dark side, telling Daniel that it was possible that David Clarke provided Nolan with the starting capital, and because Clarke's contract contained the exclusivity clause, it would mean that even if this investment had been made from Clarke's personal account, he still acted on behalf of Grayson Global, which consequently means that Garyson Global has controlling interest in NolCorp.
-Emily informs Nolan about Padma's request and ruins his breakfast.
- Amanda wakes up from her coma, and gets to meet her son and Kara. Mason, the writer, returns to the Hamptons and pays a visit to the hospital, he notices that Amanda doesn't have a scar and later confronts her with this observation, implying that Amanda is a fraud.
- Emily convinces Amanda to talk to Kara and ask her to leave, because she might be dangerous. Amanda and Kara have a talk, and Amanda says she forgives Kara. Emily's in pieces eavesdropping.
- The robbed person makes an offer on Jack's bar and Jack seems to agree.
Oh, and yes, Victoria and Conrad are getting married, so they wouldn't have to testify against each other in court, in case it gets to this point, and Emily tells Amanda that Jack is the father of her son.
What I did not like about this episode is how quickly Amanda recovered. One day she's practically dead, the next day she's released from the hospital. To make it a little more plausible, the writers should either make her accident appear less dramatic or let her lie unconscious for an episode or two.

DEXTER S07E05 "SWIM DEEP": "SO WE'RE LOOKING FOR A F**KING TERMINATOR"
Dexter is steadily awesome this season, and despite insufficient research done by the show creators on the topic of Ukrainian mafia, Koshka Brotherhood story line is actually pretty exciting, and Ray Stevenson, portraying the nasty mob boss Isaak Sirko is doing extremely good job. This character, while recklessly brutal, is somewhat charming, and if I compare him to other Dexter's antagonists, the only one that could really compete with Sirko in his brilliance is probably Trinity, but that one was clearly wrong in the head, so I give him the second place.
In "Swim Deep" Debra has to do some lying and evidence stealing to protect her brother, which she obviously finds morally unacceptable, and Dexter finally comes to learn that he is on Sirko's killing list, but I don't think he realizes yet how wicked his newly discovered enemy really is.
Recap:
- Dexter's cleaning his boat chitchatting with his father's ghost as usually, and finds some blood. Back in the lab he learns that this blood belongs to Lois.
- Debra finds out about the blood slide LaGuerta found in the church.Apparently, Maria ordered a test from another lab because she did not want her colleagues to think she was crazy for not believing that Doakes was a serial killer and because according to the Bay Harbor Butcher profile, he must be working for Miami Metro. She gives the case details to Debra, for her eyes only, but of course Debra shows it to Mr. Butcher himself.
- Dex comes back to his place, but before he opens the door, he notices that the curtain is not the way he left it, which means that someone was or still is inside. And we know who that is, right?
- So Dexter leaves a message on his autoreply, making Sirko believe he's gonna be in some cafe. Sirko goes there and receives a phone call from Dex. During the conversation, Isaak reveals that he wants to kill Dexter and his colleagues from police, including Deb, to avenge Viktor's death.
- To protect his sister, Dexter has to tell her about Isaak and Baskov. She gets upset as she learns that Dexter hid the fact that he found Viktor's fingerprint in Kaja's car.
- Hannah McKay helps Miami Metro find the bodies of one couple allegedly killed by her ex, Wayne Randall. As Dexter inspects the bodies, he realizes that Hannah was not only the associate of Wayne, she committed murders herself as well. However, DAs gave her immunity on all crimes committed with Randall, so she doesn't blink as he tells he what he' learnt.
- Debra and Maria visit the family of one of the Dexter's victims, a wedding photographer. On one of the photos Debra sees Dexter and hides it from Maria.
- Sirko follows Dexter to the den of a Colombian drug cartel, the group that is not fond of Koshka Brotherhood. Dexter believes Isaak gets killed there, 'cause he's outnumbered, but Sirko is extremely skilled, so he takes everyone down. During this slaughter, Sirko spills his own blood, which allows police to identify who he is, and so he gets arrested.
- Sirko and his company give some cash to Quinn, not really sure at this point, what for.
- Dexter visits Isaak in jail and listens to his story about his grandfather's revenge, which does not feel plausible in any way, but we get the main idea: this isn't over.
- Debra tells Dexter she doesn't want to know any more of his dark passenger stuff, she doesn't want to be a part of this anymore. So, metaphorically speaking, she wants to stay near the shore, while Dex swims deep.
